Last Night and Showin' off my Bird Tchotchkes

Last night wasn't very bird-related...at all....but it was a lot of fun. I had dinner with some friends (Paige, Charlotte, Martinique, Ayella, Shelby, Morgan) at a little mall in bethesda and we ate at China Pavilion. The food there was fantastic, and it was a lot of fun. At one point, Paige pointed out 2 bird sculptures on a shelf in the restaurant, and I said, "Oh, that's a female Northern Cardinal, and that's a Blue Jay." Charlotte thought it was soooo cool that I just knew that; I thought it was pretty cute. After dinner, I popped into the wild bird store a couple buildings down and shopped around for a bit. Speaking of that, I decided I was going to show off all my wild bird store loot, and bird tchotchkes. Or how ever that is spelled. Here it goes:

I also have 3 little bird's nests with fake birds and eggs in them, a pair of bluebird earrings, dragonfly earrings, and tiger swallowtail earrings from a wild bird store, a porcelain downy woodpecker, 6 of those Audubon singing plush bird toys, 7 other bird figurines, and a lot, lot more...Now I've got to get back to birding, and there will be a serious birding-related post soon. I swear.
